My rain Haiku

afternoon drizzle
a clear sky in the puddle
below the swing

coastal rain
idle excavators stand
on the sea-edge

evening rain
hillside shadows
running off

straight fall
from the roof—
dead rain

dissipated rain
dim flicker of lightning
in the distant sky

first  rain
on dusty roadside leaves
half-washed plates

summer buds
the story
of our suffering

hailstones—
do I live
a little longer?

Haikus On Winter

HAIKUS ON WINTER

1
burglar's hands
in the crevices of the tin-roof
winter enters forcibly

2
northerly winds
a propaganda in  town
in slow whispers

3
tiny flowers
fall throughout the winter night
children surround the story-teller

4
trees shed gently
their winter leaves
scantily dressed to allure

5
a dry bough
falls near the bonfire
gesture for a cause

6
snow gathers
in lower ridges first
lust runs to the valley
